Visited Vagamon tourist spot last weekend, with a group of relatives.
We were a group ten adults and 5 kids, Reached the PINE FOREST entrance at 1400hrs. afternoon.
We wanted to have lunch , all were hungry including the kids.
two of us went to the " TEEBROS ADRAK" resort right at the gate of the pine forest Vagamon .
Buffet lunch was available there NON VEG for Rs 250/- said the waiter at the restaurant.. As the whole group was vegetarian I asked him , as is the usual practice all over Kerala, if there was a lower rate for Vegetarian . He said it is not usual to do so in this resort , and he directed us to the Captain.
The Captain simply said " We are not asking you to have food, here , the non veg is also there and there is no change in price tag even if all of you have veg only " ( meaning you have food or go hungry is not my lookout, either follow my way or the highway)
We went away hungry from there as we felt that we were treated as: " beggars" .
Let the resort BLOOM flourish and grow well, धन्य हो , अधीति देवो भव
