of a Wise Young Man
I had the good fortune to travel for about 4 hrs. with a
young man from a small town with wide practical experience. He shared the
following insights
A. About People
- 1. People who keep their word, are very rare.
- 2. People do not mind their own business, they meddle in other people’s affairs.
- 3. Bluffing about unknown subjects is a prevalent habit.
- 4. Everybody thinks , “I know everything”.
- 5. Realizing the real meaning of things is very rare.
B. Politics
1. Political
parties support wrong activities of “youth wings” in order to get more cadres.
2. Everyone
gangs up to malign upcoming leaders so that they themselves can one day become
leaders.
C. General
1. Nowadays
people are so busy that they do not even look after their own affairs.
2. Last
minute frantic running around is quite normal because nobody does any
preparation or homework.
3. People
believe any hearsay without verifying.
4. Divorces
happen nowadays for the flimsiest reasons.
5. Parents
unnecessarily interfere in married son’s / daughter’s life.
6. Remote
control for the above is the mobile phone
